FRAMEWORKS
These "Frameworks" are a new evolution of my practice. A fusion of montage and graphic design these works evolved out of a want to be able to display my cinematic work, that of montage, in a still medium. This concept being simple for a Director or D.O.P. required some thought as to the representation of montage.
Each image in a series represents one minute* of screen time of the audio/visual piece it shares it's name with. The triplet structure of the works represents shots and editing. (ie., Frame 1; Incoming Frame of Cut. Frame 2; Interstitial Frame of Shot. Frame 3; Outgoing Frame of Cut.) The scale of the frames represents the rhythm of the piece, this structure allows for a trully expanded view of a work, including but not limited to it's narrative or non-narrative associative structure.
* If a piece ends in an un-even minute interval an image can represent less than a minute. Scale may be manipulated to retain proper relevance to rhythm.)

POSTER / ADVERTISING WORK
I regularly produce posters for activities at or related to the Global Emergent Media Lab, as well as content for the lab website. I’ve also produced some posters for other events and 1 sheets for production companies.
+ Global Emergent Media Lab Posters
A selection of posters that I have produced for the GEM Lab for various events.
Made to complement the existing style of GEM Lab branding, while being tailored to each event and presenter.
+ GROOP*INDEX HOME SHOW IV
A set of posters, flyers and graphics made for a film screening during a show by GROOP INDEX, a Montréal based video/performance collective. The show featured work by many Masters of Fine Arts Film Production students including myself.
Made to complement an existing GROOP INDEX Poster.
+ Love Poster PROJECT
Part of a set of posters, created by a group of film artists for the Endless Love Event in July 2015 presented by Animals of Distinction, a Montréal based multi-media dance company. The installation of these posters was orchestrated by Sonya Stefan and myself.
Low Poly WORKs
These are images made in the "low poly" digital art style. Each final image is created based on a source photo and is mapped and rendered with basic polygonal shapes by hand to create the final image. This is achieved through the use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
The resulting images are dynamic, both in terms of color, shape and in their recollection of the cinematic technique of Rotoscope. The final Low Poly images are also scalable to any size.
